Baked: Gold Engagement Cake
I’m a little behind on posting this, but here’s a cake from a couple of weeks ago that I made for an engagement party. The gold stripes and heart topper are fondant (painted with edible paint) and the smooth-as-can-be white layer may look like fondant, but it’s buttercream. I must say, I had an exceptionally steady hand that day!
