American Made

Last week I had the privilege of attending the Martha Stewart American Made events in NYC.  My day was filled with amazing and inspiring panel discussions (with the Queen herself!), delicious food, cocktails, and cake…a lot of cake! I was invited as part of Martha’s Circle and had such a great time meeting and getting to know the other bloggers in attendance.  The blogger events all took place around the American Made public market in Grand Central, which hosted 40 different American makers and their handmade products.  There were so many amazing products in one place it was hard to see it all!

As you all know, I love me some paper flowers.  How gorgeous are these ones from The Green Vase?!

Now, here’s something I definitely need!  Piebox makes these beautiful pine carriers out of Chicago.  Coming from someone who often has to take the subway to deliver my baked goods, I hate carrying my large ugly plastic carriers in public.  Sure they get the job done, but they don’t do the beautiful cake inside ANY justice!  There’s not even a comparison to be made with these super stylish Piebox boxes.  Lucky for me, the team at Piebox just launched Cakebox as well – which I will definitely be adding to my Christmas list this year!americanmade14

The paper goods from Parcel sure were awesome.  I loved the mini paper pinwheels and paper chandeliers.  They had some great stationery on display as well – these rainbow-colored honeycomb cards were my fave.americanmade06americanmade05

Thanks so much to the team at Martha Stewart for having me!  It was a great day.  Hooray for handmade!
