Chick Eggs 2

Materials Needed:

  • 1 dozen eggs, hard-boiled
  • Deviled egg mix [½ cup mayonnaise, 1 tsp pickle juice, pinch of dry mustard, salt + pepper]
  • Serrated knife
  • Piping bag
  • Mini carrots + black olives
  • Toothpick

Directions:Chick Eggs DIYStep #1: Take your hard-boiled eggs and slice them in half using a serrated knife.

Step #2: Scoop the egg yolks out and add them to a bowl.

Step #3: Make your deviled egg mixture – either as you please or follow along with my recipe included in the video.

Step #4: Using a spoon, add the mixture into a piping bag.

Step #5: Pipe the mixture into the bottom of each hard-boiled egg, overflowing about 1 inch above the top of the egg. Once filled, add the top piece of the hard-boiled egg back on.

Step #6: Chop small pieces of olives and carrots. Add a carrot piece for the beak and two olive pieces for the eyes. Use a toothpick to position each mini veggie into place.
