Thanksgiving Tabletop w/ Sugar & Cloth

I was so excited when Ashley Rose, the super creative DIY-ing beauty behind Sugar & Cloth, reached out to me with an idea for a collaboration around a Thanksgiving table. Ashley had been thinking about making some air dry clay elements for her table and proposed I make some edible cake toppers – a much sweeter version of the classic Thanksgiving meal. I loved the idea and immediately got to work creating six different toppers for the shoot and then shipped them on over to Texas for Ashley to work her magic with. I photographed the process and will be posting a DIY for the cake toppers tomorrow – so make sure to come back to see that! [UPDATE: DIY posted HERE]

As for today, head on over to Sugar & Cloth to see the DIY for Ashley’s beautiful gold leaf napkin rings.Β  How amazing are those?!Β  I definitely need to go pick me up some air dry clay! Huge thank you to Ashley for inviting me to be a part of this post, and for styling the toppers and that table so perfectly (as she always does)!
