In case you weren’t aware, tomorrow is the official start to summer (hooray!).  Earlier this week I spent one of the warmer days exploring a local beach and I stumbled upon this amazing mural.  It wasn’t until I got close to it that I realized it was made from thousands of plastic bottle tops.  Such a great way to give those very wasteful plastic bottles a second life…upcycling at it’s best!  Beach areas have such amazing, often-unnoticed art. So if you plan on bringing in this first summer weekend on a beach keep your eyes open – inspiration is just about everywhere!
