Inspired Cakes: Tile

I’ve decided to start a new series on this blog of inspired cakes.  Over the past year I have had a lot of cake ideas come into my head, but never found the time to actually make them. I’m hoping this series will help motivate me to take the time.  Today’s first series takes it’s inspiration from tile. I’ve been finding myself drawn to tile patterns everywhere I look, so thought it was only appropriate to translate these inspirations into cake form. For these cakes, I wanted to stay within a neutral palette and decided to focus on tiles and patterns that are often found in kitchens. Continue on below to see the photos.
