St. Patrick’s Day Ideas
Do people actually make St. Patrick’s Day crafts? Seems like the only people that really get excited by the day in New York are former frat boys. But anywho, before I post my one (and only) St. Patrick’s themed project this year, I wanted to post a little look back at this Rainbow Cake DIY. This post is still one of my favorites – of course there are plenty of Rainbow Cake tutorials out there, but mine has one trick that is essential to making it (in my own, narcissistic opinion) a bit better than the others. Click on the photos below to be taken to the tutorial.
And if rainbow cakes and pot o’ gold posts are your thing, you may also enjoy: a peek at a hand-piped Rainbow Cake I made or these ridiculous Leprechaun Cupcakes.
Also, while St. Patrick’s Day ain’t really my thing, some of my friends and fellow DIY bloggers are posting some very awesome, super clever St. Patrick’s Day ideas.
A few of my faves:
- Studio DIY’s Pot of Gold Balloon Surprise (would be so fun for the kiddos)
- Are you kidding me with THESE rainbow painted shoes? I wanna do this for my soles all year round! (from TheHouseThatLarsBuilt)
- Love the Clover Crown from OhHappyDay
