Here’s proof that adding something as simple as a few piped dollops of buttercream can turn a regular cookie into something very special! I was playing around with this buttercream palette recently and fell hard for the look of it piped atop a freshly baked batch of black & whites. Perhaps some will disagree with changing the look of these iconic New York cookies, but for me, I think I now prefer them with a little added jazz on top.
