I stumbled across this amazing looking motel online and was totally excited when I realized it was located not too far away from me in Brooklyn.  The Playland Motel took an early 19th Century building and restored it with the help of twelve prominent designers and artists, who also designed individual rooms of the hotel with their own aesthetic. And according to their website, different groups of aspiring artists and designers will be given the opportunity to work on rooms for the future upcoming seasons.  Seems like a very visually inspiring and stimulating staycation to me!  Check out Playland Motel’s webpage and the awesome photos below.
