Naked cakes are clearly a popular choice for this year’s Fall brides…I have 3 different naked cake orders in September alone.  Since many of my wedding clients are in the process of selecting flavors, I’ve been making a few mini versions of the cakes for tastings and thought I’d show them off since they’re so darn pretty.  Here’s a little look at some mini (6″ and 4″ round) naked cakes I made for the last tasting.  I love the blackberry and chocolate cake – isn’t that combination just gorgeous?! And those flavors together – the chocolate with buttercream and blackberries – beyond delicious!
