Here’s a little look at a recent naked cake I made for an adorable wedding that took place in the backyard garden of a Brooklyn Heights brownstone. I wanted the cake to be a bold take on spring, so I included colorful ranunculus (clearly, my go-to spring pick), freesia, and daffodils. I’m getting pretty sad that ranunculus season is coming to an end, they’ve been my favorite this year for cake floral decor and I will miss them dearly, but at least dahlia season isn’t too far away!
