Snowflakes for Sandy Hook
Since last Friday, my heart has ached. I’ve been wishing there was something I could do to show my support, anything to show some love to the people of Newtown, Connecticut. And sure enough, a great idea came to me, thanks to this blog. Through one of my posts I received some information about Snowflakes for Sandy Hook, that I wanted to share with you.
Snowflakes for Sandy Hook: The Newtown PTA is asking for assistance in decorating their temporary school in Monroe. Make some snowflakes to help the students of Sandy Hook have a winter wonderland at their new school. Send snowflakes to: Connecticut PTSA, 60 Connolly Parkway, Building 12, Suite 103, Hamden, CT 06514, by January 12, 2013.
For children and adults around the country who want to help, what a beautiful and creative way for them to send their love to the students and staff of Sandy Hook Elementary. As for me, all of the snowflakes that are on display in my home will soon be heading to Connecticut. And I know there’s not a more needed home for them.
Love Will Get Us Through.
