Business Card Cakes
A few months I saw a tutorial from SheKnows for a postcard cake that totally blew my mind. The DIY had turned a large yellow sponge into a postage-ready cake slice. It was genius! I was so inspired by the post, I immediately started brainstorming some ways I could create a variation of this pseudo cake — and almost instantaneously it hit me — business cards!
Using cosmetic sponges, spray paint, caulk, adhesive, and miniature versions of my own business cards, I was able to create these adorable mini cake cards. I even used sprinkles on one of the batches I whipped up. For these, I applied sprinkles to the wet caulk, let dry, and then applied two coats of a clear gloss spray paint. Pretty darn cute, if I say so myself!
They sure do take the business out of business card — and that is exactly what I had wanted!
