Handmade: Photobooth Backdrop
While on the topic of weddings, I wanted to post a mixed paper backdrop I crafted and arranged over the summer. Since it seems that so many people are getting engaged around this time of the year, I thought now would be a good time to showcase some of my wedding decor for inspiration. And regardless, who doesn’t love a pretty paper backdrop?!
I made this arrangement over the course of a couple days. Aside from the large tissue fans, all of the paper decor was handmade by yours truly. From pinwheels, to paper fans, garlands, tissue flowers, and more, my fingers were pretty sore once I finished, but it sure looked pretty! Paper decor is affordable, easy to make (or purchase) and typically it can be reused, if removed with a little care.

February 12, 2013 at 8:36 pmBeautiful. Are the fans all hung or glued to the wall? Looking for a solution for my daughters first birthday next week.

February 12, 2013 at 10:44 pmFor most of them I tied a string from the center and then secured the string to the wall with a little piece of painters tape. The larger ones sometimes require a push pin for extra reinforcement. Best of luck with the 1st birthday – I’m sure it’ll look great!!
